Hi again Bleez!
There are some comments that I've shared at the other lesson (HERE) that are also applicable on this one so I'll try to avoid repetition. This lesson has less expressing details compared with the Poor Man Blues but it still have a lot of emphasis on dynamics and articulation. I've noted that you are paying attention to dynamics while you play and the results are good, but there is still some room if we want to get a take closer to the original. What I note is that you use to go down in dynamics (softer) but you never accentuate. And this is what also happened with the other lesson. The original take by Ivan Zecic has a very interesting work on articulation techniques (staccato, long notes, short notes, silences) so it would be a good idea to focus on it too. Your tone fits better on this one, but the effects tip could be tried here too. Keep on the hard work!  -------------------- My lessons

Hey Bleez - great to see you playing blues again!
Overall, I like how your blues playing feels - did you sell your soul at the crossroads maybe? I think that this is a solid take which needs polishing up. This kind of slow blues is all in the expressive details. As they say, the devil is in the details. I think that your guitar tone in this one matches pretty nicely the instructors tone vibe, it is very close to it. Maybe check if you had some room effect on like reverb and lower it to match up with the lesson tone more precisely. This take is pleasant to listen to and feels smooth. I'll list bellow some details which are worth focusing on to get this take perfect: 0:10 - note needs a bit smoother downward slide with wider vibrato. It is also possible that instructor first starts to vibrate the string before picking it to the effect. 0:10-0-12 - here you play all the notes with the same dynamics (volume) where instructor plays first few notes with soft picking strength and then plays few ending notes with just a bit more picking strength which makes the phrase accenting less linear and more expressive. 0:21 - this note needs a wider vibrato (try bending string up and down with larger amplitude). 0:25-0:27 - this lick is a pretty weird one in the original lesson too. Please double check it against the original recording. I think the instructor plays it a bit tighter with different dynamics (accenting). 0:32-0:34 - in this section you don't reach the correct pitches with the bends. My general suggestion would be to work on dynamics in your playing. Improving dynamics will surealy be a huge step forward on your guitar journey and having this in mind, playing blues is a GREAT place to be in order to practice and make progress in that department. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
