Yup, the land of the Mass Shooting and home of the Crazy. Sad as it seems we have the second mass shooting in Texas in a months time. 5 are dead, 21 are injured. These are becoming a bi monthly event. The shooter is dead so we can't ask him any questions. He had a rifle in his car and when he was stopped for a traffic violation, he shot at a cop.
Mass shootings are happening here with such frequency, it's becoming routine. Other countries have them, but no other country on EARTH has a many mass shooting as we do. That's one statistic we are #1 at. Not education, not equal pay, etc. Nope. We are #1 on Mass Shootings I'm honestly ashamed to be a citizen of this country at this point as so many people here have so little regard for human life, that they just start killing people. I'm proud to be from a "free" country, but ashamed to see our freedoms abused in this way. It's shameful. Sadly I don't see a solution given that we have more guns than people in this country. Folks are emotionally attached to their guns. They are not going to give them up. Even the really crazy people who are going to kill people probably next month, can't be disarmed. Bullet proof vests maybe? Given out by the federal govt? Especially to high school students. It's crazy. Here is a vid from cbs news. In other news, a CATEGORY 4 Hurricane is heading toward Florida. The storms have been getting worse here year over year and the flooding as well.

Sadly, you are spot on. This one running a one man running gun fight over 20 miles in distance, starting with a routine traffic stop evidently. The death toll is now up to 7 dead. He abandoned his vehicle and stole a postal vehicle for some reason. Our country seems to be packed with crazy gun owners willing to shoot innocent people. I'm fine with people having guns, it's when they leave the their residence with loaded weapons and start killing strangers that it gets really disturbing In other news, that big storm is now a category 5 hurricane heading towards the state of Florida. If anyone on GMC is living in Florida, you probably know all about this by now, if not, it's time to find a safe place to hunker down.
