My first impressions are:

1. A bit weird EQ sections - all knobs sound more like a "sweep through spectrum" than a cut/boost in a particular range. Weird but still able to get some nice tones
2. Very compressed - You can easily feel how easily it starts to sound like with limiter on. Tight gain fans will not be impressed but it gives a lot of warmth and works in the mix (still You can hear some mudd under but it does some good job).

First few minutes I found hard to get close to the tone I like, but I was pretty impressed with what happened after mic transmition smile.gif I think it can really do the job for some particular kind of playing smile.gif Enjoy smile.gif

Looks cool. Sounds like it really a sweet spot eq-wise. Kinda one trick kinda thing.

But you can make it sing.

GREAT DEMOS!!! Your demos are just killer man!!! They look great, they sound great. If you wouldn't mind, maybe make a video about making videos? I think it would be a great addition to our wiki!!

Great demo as usual smile.gif

Sounds interesting in the first part with your mix. I don't know how you can make all things to sounds good ohmy.gif The second part with the raw tone it's to muddy for my taste. To be honest I have the feeling that the sound it's hidden in a closet biggrin.gif I don't feel "air" in sound. I hope you understand what I mean, because I made the worst explanation ever tongue.gif

Thank You Todd! You know...maybe indeed it's a good idea. But I need to complete a few more things before smile.gif Also...When I was learning I found a lot...A LOOOOT of great toturials in the YT. As usual I had to try out each on my own skin - not everything works the way You like also...some things are possible to be done only with twice as much lights and bigger workspace. But...such a great times we live in - in case of easy access to descent knowledge smile.gif

SeeJay, Monica, Hajduk - Thank You. Seems like we all have similar thoughts. Yes - this amp is very specific and it's a bit muddy. It can be useful in the mix but If You need more than crunch type of drive it's getting to blurry. But...this compression makes a lot of good in the mix. I really enjoyed the solo tone. I felt it's blurry while playing but this ratio between attack and compressed tone layer gives good sit in the mix while keeping the dynamics.

Notice - when I've listened to ready recording I had thoughts that it sounds like twice as much gain that actually is set up on the amp - this compression gives that feel.

Anyway when You roll off the gain it sounds perfect - fat and clean with no harsh, when You use single coils.

In overall judgement I think it's an amp that can be liked smile.gif

Great demo Darius!!
I've played through one of these but only at low level in a Shop but was quite impressed with it. I've also played properly with the Mofo 100 which really is a nice sounding amp!

The Mofo 55 is the Amp of choice of Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro!

This is him at Hayden HQ for the release of the Mofo 30!!
