GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Need You'r Opinion

Ok its my first record, no re records or anything biggrin.gif Its not flawless, but you get the basic idea, to begin with i tapped slow, now ive built up my speed, any opinions? biggrin.gif

well done mate!
you can improv these kind of licks, focusing on every note. forget high speed for a while, and pay attention on different patterns...

for ex:

1st string: -12 (tapping note)----- 8----5----8--------------------------------------
2nd ------------------------------------------12 (tapping note) 8----5----8--

Sounds good. Maybe you should slow it down a bit at the beginning.

Cool.

Now try mixing it up some and making a lick of your own.

Throw a slide or 2 in there and see what happens.

IMO the videos (specially the first one) seems kinda speeded up a bit, judging by the movements before and after you play the lick.
The lick itself is cool, but I would suggest slowing it down for more clarity.
