So if Id get a blues harp in E tuning.. or whatever it means. Does that mean I can only play the blues in E?

I think that is what it means, but perhaps Jones can answer better, I'm not sure what notes are on that harp

I got Hohner one in C and that one seems to cover most beatles songs I always wanted to learn
I see that your have bigger spacing between holes , what is about that and which ones are available because it seems to me it would be easier to play the one with bigger spacing between holes

So to play in all Keys you'll end up with a collection of different Harps! The correct name for a Blues harp is:- 'The Richter-tuned harmonica', or '10-hole harmonica' (in Asia) or 'blues harp' (in America), is the most widely known type of harmonica. It is a variety of diatonic harmonica, with ten holes which offer the player 19 notes (10 holes times a draw and a blow for each hole minus one repeated note) in a three octave range. (From Wikipedia) Have a look at the rest of the page HERE!! There is also a way of playing called 'Cross harp Playing' where you'd use a different Keyed Harp and play Modally!! For example:- If the Band are playing a Blues in 'D' and you use an 'A' Harp you represent the Mixolydian Mode!! Simple, eh???
