Hi everybody.
I've been trying to figure out which guitar to get once i get the money to buy one.
I''ve been looking at these.
Schecter C-1 Hellraiser: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Schecter-C1-Hellraiser-Electric-Guitar?sku=518451 (The white one by the way)
Cort EVL-K6:http: //www.cort.co.kr/english/products/common/view.asp?product_id=165
PRS SE Custom:http: //www.musiciansfriend.com/product/PRS-Guitars-SE-Custom-Electric-Guitar?sku=519370
Epiphone Goth Les Paul Studio: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Goth-Les-Paul-Studio-Electric-Guitar?sku=517233
I play a lot of Metal (More of the darker kind like gothic and doom.) and i have a crate 65W.
Thanks.
Genre doesn't matter (much).
Try them!
Keep in mind that you need to steer away from a floating bridge if you want to play drop D, other alternate tunings, etc.
Then choose a guitar with a fixed bridge, set up for heavy gauge strings.
Otherwise: let you guide you.
Yup, try them all if possible, and if you have the chance, try any other guitar that you can lay your hands on, like this you will find out which one you like the most.
I'd personally go for the PRS, but as EVERYBODY says: Play them first!
I'm gonna try them next time i'm at guitar center (although i doubt i'd find the Cort there). Who knows maybe i'll just save some money and get an MK Custom
PRS gets my vote, but try them all of course. Try not to think about the strings too much, usually they are all rusty in the store etc..
