Made this backing with my KB. I recorded an improv over it using a preset i've been playing around with. It's a bit raw imo so still got to work some on it

90bpm in key of Em, although I think I threw some notes note's in that don't belong. Not too noticible though. I hope.... rolleyes.gif

Edit: uploaded the wrong take..lol

Listened just now. Nice backing.

On the solo, I feel it's a nice solo, but the tone could need some work, as it's a bit over-distorted.

Gonna upload something in a bit.

Sounds very cool man, piano is a nice touch for the backing, like a laid back '90ties ballad smile.gif

Sound of the guitar is little buzzy, perhaps another more smoother preset would sound even better.

Thanks for the comments guys. This tone is one that I'm working on. I thought I had it close to what I wanted then ran the monkey update for my Toneport. I upgraded to the newer version (3.64) and it changed things, weird.... so now I'm back at it. smile.gif

Are you sure it's in Em and that it's not downtuned a half step?

I think it is mate, though my theory is terrible tongue.gif When I created the solo I was in standard tune. Can't exactly remember the progression atm as i'm at work. Your theory knowledge is better than mine so the key could very well be wrong.

Piano backing is very good !! Solo is a little out of track feeling (mostly because of tone)...You need a slow , smooth and with high bends and strong vibrato one for this type of backing smile.gif I'm sure with a smoother guitar tone you'll match that feeling better smile.gif Good job mate overall mate! smile.gif
