Hello everybody!
Some of you have certainly heard about Steve Vai´s tour this year. I saw it last month on his site. Surprisingly, he planned to come to Luxembourg city and that´s only 40 km away from my house. So, I was yesterday on this concert. All I can say is that it was awesome.
Have someone of you also been there?
If not, will you go on another show this year?
Have you got any photographs or videos of the concert? - I found some: *click me*

Regards,
Tolek

Excellent - I booked up to see him in the USA in October - seems like a long time to wait, but I'm very glad to hear that the show was awesome!!!!

I think I've said it before, but I'll be at the one in Toronto biggrin.gif And I can't wait! I waited a bit late to get tickets, I was hoping to get an "Evo" ticket, but they sold out so quickly! Anyway, I'm sure it'll be great, only 2.5 months left...

Yes, it is really great to see him playing live. Did I say that I stood 3 meters away from him? biggrin.gif I even saw his nails. hehe. I am so glad that I saw him live. I also got 2 pics he used during the concert. One my brother got from the security man who let him sit in front of the scene, and the other Vai personally gave it to him. Aaaaaaahh, I can´t explain how happy I am. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
Would you like to know what he played? If no, then do not read this: Bum Chika Wahwah I especially liked Tender Surrender, For the Love of God and Freak Show Excess. HE ROCKED!
You surely wonder why I wrote "Bum Chika Wahwah" as name of the link. You will see it on the concert. biggrin.gif That was really funny. I payed attention to his movements and so I discovered a few tricks he played. biggrin.gif After the concert I feel that I play better on guitar, but I am not sure if it´s true. biggrin.gif

You payed $150, Smikey2006? I only payed 26€ per person. (that means 26x3= 78 €).

Enjoy the rest of the tour!
