This cable mimiks capasitance changes of any cable, meaning the loss of signal from the cable.

Bad quality or long cables cause signal loss, but this might not be a bad thing depending on your needs. The sound examples covers a lot of answers to years of cable debate among guitar players. Maybe a cable change might be the only thing one needs before changing the pickups or even guitar...
