I have a good friend who wants me to come play rhythm guitar for him... they are a new band and are about to get big...
Only thing is that i love playing all that remains, lamb of god style music, but they sound good even for an old metal head like myself... the singer has a killer voice

Check them out and let me know what you think...

there are two songs on the site...

Well I'll be honest, I don't hear that "new breed" their talking about, and the lead guitar just sounds bad to me... but if they are set as much you'r saying than you should go for it, even if it is compromising you'r style, it will get you introduced to many people, and maybe later if all goes well you can hook with some of those people to make the music you want to make.

You shouldn't limit yourself with metal, go for the new band and in time your style will blend in too. Work hard - it's a road to success.

I spelled my username wrong...I didn't even think that was possible!

Look at the topic for my guitar...
Finished Guitar Build

Gear:
Homemade strat (You still need to look at its topic!)
Squier strat (probably going to get rid of it and get another guitar instead) :)
Line 6 spider amp (not actually used for anything, just acts as a speaker)
Digitech Gnx2 (kind of old, but cheap, and sounds amazing!)

Good call! The songs sound good to me.

Imho the solo guitar distorion was very unfit with the rest of the sound... unsure.gif
