im thinking about buying a new amp any suggestions????

On the other hand, if you're giging and you're playing some extra technical stuff then it's usually good to practice using same gear/sound you're gonna use for gig, gives you more overall control.

If you need amp for practice at home, you buy it. In my experience the amp you are going to buy is directly related to the amount of money you have, so this will decide the model. So - what's the budget?

Cheapo tube amps that I have a feeling the demanding amp enthusiasts in general like are Blackheart Killer ant and Little Giant.
