I like Linkin Park(besides Minutes to Midnight) and i like
Rage Against The Machine( the only rap-rock bands i like...)
Yes both excellent, but 2 totally different styles. Hhhmmm...
perhaps we could compare... EXAMPLES!!!
1. Bulls on Parade-Nice guitar, vocals sound like a mouth full of peanut-butter
but u get used to it. 9/10
2. Numb- probably my fav Linkin Park song. awesome lyrics, catchy tune,
amazing, i dont think theres guitar in it. 10/10
Its up to u to decide which is better...

Easy. RATM by a million miles and more. I liked the odd LP song long ago though.

Dont like Linkin Park, barely at all for RATM.
But i cant doubt Morello's skills, so im going with RATM.

RATM's s/t is one of the better mainstream album I like. Its filled with catchy riffs, great bass lines, excellent lyrics, and it was original for its time. It actually featured some semi-heavy guitars and a singer that can actually rap.
Linkin Park on the other hand just became popular just by riding a bunch of trendy band wagons. Look at how they evolved with there music career. They were in it for the rap rock element on Hybrid Theory, then went a slight turn to seriousness and more "rap" to Meteora, and now a U2 rip off on MM. There the epitome of cliche in modern rock media.

I dont "hate" any band or form of music, It always means something to somebody and thats what counts, There just not my style thats all.
The only time "I'll "hate" something is when i discover the person to be fake, like say, people who lip synch, Those people, should be hit with a rock

Well.. I don't hate Linkin Park.. I just don't like to listen to them.
On the other hand RATM is one of the best things that's happened to music! I love everything they've created and the first album is The Best Album Made Ever IMO. And Tom has always been an idol for me for everything he has done. As you can see :] The line below my posts was written on his sig guitar, and he's on my avatar.
The Nightwatchman(Tom's solo project) is also something really worth listening if you like Morello!!
Man, they're something great! :]

Not a big fan of either, but I respect them both. I like the vocals and riffs of RATM more.

Well I like both bands very much. They are both pretty original when it comes to content but as most of you know I'm a HUGE Morello fan so my heart is with RATM.
Morello is one of the most original guitarist to come out of the 90's and he's still going strong. Whether with RATM, Audioslave or his solo project The Nightwatchmen, you just know it's Morello when you hear one of his songs. An well you mix him with Zach's vocals and well it's just magic.

Rage is an amazing band, truly one of the best of their time. Linkin Park is okay, good band at best, I like some of their songs though I don't think they come close to Rage.

Rage is one of the most inspirational bands ive listened to.. not inspirational like to play guitar.. but inspirational like making me wanna get up off my butt and start a revolution!. Its such heavy music without overly distorted guitars or blast beats... RATM is one of my favorite bands.. i have all their albums and love em all.. On the other hand.. linken park and meteora were also good things but they just dont compare... i compare them using log rythmic scales.. Linken park gets a 7/10.. rage gets a 9/10... that still means rage is 100x's better

I don't find a reason to choose between these two band but they are very different. I think that the scence of each one is very different. Sometimes I want to listen to RATM and sometimes I preffer Linkin Park. Thanks god they both exist and that we have diversity.
