It's been signed by Godsamck and one of the guys from Five Finger Death Punch. (That's all the info I've been given so far)
Asking price is $500 plus Shipping.

Was it a contest win guitar of some kind? Looks spiff wink.gif They usually sign the front on contest guitars. Folks will often have them sign the back on personal guitars.

In all honesty I don't know if it was a contest prize. A friend of mine in Rialto asked me for a quick appraisal of it as it's a friend of hers that is selling it.

Interesting! Do you guys know a sort of a website of some kind where people could sell autographed guitars? I am still trying to sell my signed Ibanez JEM 777 SK and I am aiming to organize a well thought campaign from January onward. Todd has already shared some VERY valuable advice on eBay, so I am interested in any suggestion you guys might have!

Indeed - the internet is a very dangerous place indeed. I want to build a well thought of campaign to promote the guitar on as many important and reliable sites as possible - I'm thinking that maybe I could contact some sites that sell old guitars and see if they can help me out... I remembered that show on TV with the guys that own a pawn shop and people come by to sell various stuff - do you think that that could be an idea?

Cos, for that one I'd recommend advertising it on JEMSITE.
Probably the best Ibanez forums on the web! I don't know of any specific site just for the sale of autographed instruments.

You are not going to get a fair price for it at a pawn shops. The way they make money is to buy as low as possible and then resell it for as high as possible. You will most likely be insulted by what a pawn shop will offer you for that guitar.
You can get some good deals buying at a pawn shop but that is because a lot of the time someone down on their luck came in for a loan because they needed money to pay bills etc.
The pawn shop gave them say a $500 dollar loan for a $2000 dollar guitar , then the owner couldn't pay the high monthly interest on the loan and ended up losing the guitar to the pawn shop that can then sell it cheap, say $1000 or even $1500 and make a hefty profit, double or triple the money they paid out. And possibly even a month or two of interest payments on the original loan as well. This is how pawn shops make most of their money.

I place high hopes on that one to be frank... We'll see what's what, but first, let's get over Christmas biggrin.gif

No worries Cos. I've only ever had good dealings with people on that site, especially when trying to source original parts etc!

The music shop I work at also buy second-hand guitars to sale them with profit and as mentioned...we cannot give You the real value of the guitar because it is even to the price we have to propose to our customers. Unfortunately the profit is small but we have to count in the taxes
