If you could put together a dream band with artists dead or alive, who would you pick?

Here I go... biggrin.gif

Vocals - Freddie Mercury
Guitar - Jimi Hendrix
Guitar - Randy Rhoads
Bass - Jaco Pastorius

Layne Staley - vocals
Ryan Dunn - drums ( I bet he'd do just ok)
Cliff Burton - bass
Randy Rhoads - guitar

It would be interesting to them playing together.

hehe cool band mate! I love Gavin's drum style. His work on PT is amazing, and I really enjoyed his playing in Nick Johnston's last album.

Yeah, PT is where I know Gavin from, such a brilliant drummer. They were a great band.
Ive not heard nick johnstons album, I'll need to check it out.

Here is a crazy idea for an instrumental 3 piece.

Guthrie Govan - Guitar

Jaco Pastorius - Bass

Dennis Chambers - Percussion

I could see two of them live with different trios and I can confirm that this band would be a bomb.
