Hi OC.
First of all,I'm really glad you're into Jazz. But there's one thing you need to understand first. Jazz is kind of last step in exploring music, boundaries are almost invisible, you can do almost whatever you want, following your ears of course and some basic rules. So I suggest you to get power background in all other genres and styles (Rock,Blues,Funk etc) before you step into Jazz more seriously. As for the lessons, just type Jazz into search engine, we have couple of Jazz lessons at GMC atm but I'm sure we'll have a lot more as well. As for books,I have no idea, really All I've learned so far is by listening and learning stuff by ear. I use theory to explain myself the things I've learned and that'd be all. I hope you some members/instructors can point you to a good Jazz Theory Book tho. -------------------- Youtube

You're welcome.
Actually improvising is the best thing to start no matter what style you're playing, it means that you have wide library of lick, well knowledge over fretboard and guitar in general. Just keep practicing certain licks/lessons AND improvise as much as you can, that's the key. -------------------- Youtube
