Hi, rokchik and ladies
I usually begin the practice with Gabriel's 'power metal soloing 2'or 'neoclassical alternatepicking etude' slowly as warming up.
I like a lot of Gabriel's lesson, so I picked up 4 or 5 lessons and practice those on and on every day. I like Muris's 'Bb Minor Phrasing -Beginner' lesson, too. That is new addition to my usual practice.
Sometimes I put ipod on and play something I can along with music, such as 'starlight' (Muse) or 'Dakota' (Stereophonics),etc, etc. Today I was practicing 'Heart in a cage' (the Strokes). That was fun.
I am sorry to hear you couldn't play the guitar for while, but now you got back home ok and I presume you are enjoying play the guitar as used. Yes, in the situation like that i will be missing playing the guitar as you were, especially you were away because of work, not holiday.
I haven't got new gear yet, but I am thinking to get 'toneport ux1'. The one a lot of people seems to recomend. If I get that, then, yes I would like record my playing and would like to post, too (maybe).
Actually it might be quite good to think about posting the playing, because i will be practicing harder and will tidy up my playing
if you know what i mean.
That is my update

Thanks dango, yes being away for work makes not playing that much harder but I'm home now so the LP has got some major TLC this past weekend
You seem to be doing some major practicing there. Good for you girl
I have to agree with you about Gabriels and Muris lessons. They seem to be the ones I tend to be drawn too as well. And you've picked some great ones there to practice. Plus you have some great choices there in music. I try to do the same with my iPod from time to time, actually since you mentioned The Strokes I've updated my iPod
As for the recording side of things I pretty much thought the same thing. I want to record so I can clean up my playing and also to get some feedback from the instructors and members about my playing. That why I will know what I need to work on, which at the moment is pretty much everything
Thanks for the update and let us know if you get the toneport.
See ya around the forum and keep practicing hard
