Im watching this movie and its really making me think.. it explains christianity and many other religions in a way that i think many religions people need to see.. its controversial but enlightening... its a long movie and there are two.. they can be found here.. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ the one on the right is the first.. give them a watch and post your opinions..

I found the first one to be kind of crappy, but I like a lot of the things said in the second one about the flaws in the monatary system we have right now, it doesn't feel like a conspiracy movie but more like some suggestions about what could be improved here and there. With a pinch of salt the second movie is nice, but the first one is horrible imo.

i really like how the first one explains religion.. it makes alot of sence.. i dislike the whole conspiracy behind the 9/11 attacks.. but they really do bring up good points.

I havent watched it and don't plan on it but from what I understand and done a bit of light research the religion thing is really messed up. They say some stuff about egyptian gods or something, i dnno but they make comparisions to Jesus that were never true in the that egyptian religion.

Whatever though I doubt I'll say much else.

Definetly, the whole thing about the religions is a complete joke, and so is most of the first movie. Only 1/3 or the second one is that much of a joke imo, the rest is just argumentation that you can take however you want. I haven't researched everything they say so I obviously take it with a pinch (or more like a can) of salt, especially knowing how much based on reality the first one was, but for me it was fun watching, I always enjoy these kind of things, even though I know it's mostly (or always) just a bunch of made up stuff. But I did found the second movie to be a bit better, at least from the looks of it, but it might be as full of crap aswell.

My friends seem to love this movie, haven't gotten around to watch it.

I love these kinds of movies, but this is so much more believeable than all this alien or ghost stuff.. this stuff is very real and if it turned out to be true what a story it would be... i have no problem believeing alot of what is said.. but at the same time there are things that the evidence doesn't backup.. but zeitgiest defends alot of their points fairly well.

The film is interesting to watch, and although it sounds like a conspiracy theory, some points in the movie can really make the man think about the world a bit and how everything is connected. Film shows darker side of humanity, which is good, cause most of the time we are not aware of it.

I like these type of documentarys and I will watch this.

Being a strict atheist for many years of my life I have only recently found Christianity. The birth of my first child made me realize and think where we all come from. Humans especially are extrodinary creatures to think that we are just an accident? From the dawn of time, man has always try to shoot down the idea or concept of a intelligent design or religion. Its an unfortunate thing really that a lot of TV evangelists take the name and spread it around for their greedy needs and that the true, honest, good christian people get classified as such.

Whether or not you believe in some higher power , it is an obvious personal choice. I can not deny anymore there to be some sort of intelligent design to this all. God? Maybe... Aliens? Sure..

The bible, in a way can be a instruction guide on how to live life good and full. We all have instructions when we buy things so why not one on life?

I have learned to have "Faith" in recent years. I was on the brink of loosing my wife to divorce. I was a drug addict for many years of my life. When I found God, it not only turned my life around with my family. It made me a man.
But again, a personal choice I have made to become a better person for my wife and daughter.

I have been drug free for 5 years and for all the good things that has happened to me since then, I wish everyone to find some sort of spiritual healing.

I hate to bring this up again... Actually Im glad to bring this up again. After watching this I have concluded that I have wasted 2 hours of my life I will not get back. 2 hours I should have been practicing my guitar! tongue.gif

The Bible does not claim that Jesus was born on December 25th- nor would ANY Biblical scholar or Christian intellectual claim that was His real birthday. Also, the Bible NEVER says there were three wise men- only an unidentified number of astrologers called Magi. I have no doubt that political leaders known as Popes and others close to them blended these secular myths with the gospels in their manmade traditions- but that stuff must be separated out. The fact that this movie doesn't even do enough research to separate out Biblical claims versus the traditions that Christians would easily concede as manmade tells me that this is not an objective movie. It's another work meant to prey on people who don't know enough Scripture to separate out truth from traditions they've seen on a nativity Christmas card.

If your willing to watch this movie then you at least owe it to yourself to read this website.

I highly recommend not to be swayed by such propaganda. Its not much different that the hate that was being spewed when Hitler was killing all the jews. Be objective and learn both sides of an argument before you make up your mind.

Im not trying to force my beliefs on anyone here. I just think, with anything, get the facts straight. This documentary sucks.

I tend to stay away from these movies and have my own thoughts on things. They are a bit too biased from all the ones I've watched in the past.
