Hey guys, I just ran across this while looking at Les Pauls - its Gibsons new automatically tuning "robot" guitar!

http://www.gibson.com/robotguitar/guitar.html

Looks pretty cool huh? I would have thought someone would have seen this one already but I couldn't find any previous topics on it.

Anyway, I definately want one of these!

There were several topics about it. It's a great piece of technology, but I'm not really convinced until I try it and see how it behaves in real life situations, that is - never laugh.gif

LOL 2 weeks ago Ivan and I speculated on whether it was worth a buy right now or not or whether the technology would make its way onto other instruments.

We both agreed it was not worth buying right now tongue.gif

yeah i think the auto tuning feature is like 900 bucks extra, not worth it at all if you ask me lol
it seems like a joke to any seasone musician unless you play in like 4 different tunings or something then it'd sorta be practical.. but since when is it practical to play in 4 different tunings? lol im rambling sorry tongue.gif

and of course this one, Micke seems to have had a bit of memory loss and posted two topics a few months apart on the same guitar, the more recent one is like he's not seen it before tongue.gif hehe,

The spin Gibson have put on this Guitar has been unbelievable.

Well isn't that that's wierd? I kind of had a feeling when I read McGoo's post that I had seen it before but I could never think I actually had, this stunning guitar... I would have remembered. But maybe since there have been no posts about it after I forgot all about it. Sometimes memory needs to be updated once in a while in order to recall thing. Yeah, that must be it.

Just yesterday as me and my buddy were sitting around my lair, he introduced me to this new technology called "fire". Apparently, through magic, you can make this "fire" and make things hot, or turn things into "fire" as well!
