GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Emir's Rock Ballad Sound Settings

Posted by: peixe May 2 2009, 09:25 PM

Hi Emir!

Could you please post your settings that you use for this lesson?
I'm trying to dial in that right sound but I seem to have some problems with it.

Thanks!

PS: Could not find Emir's personal forum so I posted it here, hope it's allright smile.gif

Hi

I use Amplitube 2 and Sonar 7 Producer Edition.

These jpgs show everything. In Amplitube 2 you have amp model and stomp (pedals)

EQ and Delay come with Sonar but you can use any other EQ and Delay with these settings.

I hope this will help.

I'd love to see that. These same settings are almost the same on most of my latest lessons

Ok smile.gif

I'm having some troubles with AmpliTube, when I run it as an effect for my audio channel in Cubase, it does not seem to work.. there is no IN-signal for some reason. What can this be?

In your recording track turn the little speaker icon ON

I already have it turned on :S I don't understand why it does not work. When I run Amplitube alone, it works perfectly.. so there's nothing wrong with the sound.

Edit: The IN-signal reaches the audio-channel, but it doesn't send them to the Amplitube fx channel for some reason.

The last thing I can think of is that you need to set your track output to Amplitube, not to sound card output. It will show in yout output list. Have you tried that?
