This is the first take of my version of the solo. I am sorry if I have infringed the rules of the Collab. This is my first try and I just wanted to see what I can come up with.

Some parts are sloppy. I might come with a improvised version later. But for now one day of hard work has come to an end. smile.gif

Hope you guys like it.

Very nice of you to say so - I wish I could make something more "technically demanding" ;-)
BTW - Love your take!

Cheers mate

PS: Your take (tone especially) reminds me of some TV Cop series from the 70ies - grooovy!! cool.gif

Here you go man, got a bit of a Journey vibe out of this one. Nothing technical, just tried to follow some sort of melody. smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Cheers for your feedback - and No I don´t have/use a whammy (I play the guitar in my avatar - an 80ies Washburn Falcon) - all vibrato and bending you hear is sheer power of will and fingers! laugh.gif

I did fifteen more takes but the first (or maybe second?) one was best. Funny how that happens sometimes.

Dude... I like the delay. Especially the longer notes that harmonize with the ones played previously. I also like that you went clean (you too Paiva!). Pretty cool. I don't have the guts to turn off the distortion!
