Anyone here a fan of mike oldfield? Not that much to hear for guitar music (although the parts that are played on guitar are very good). But i personally really like that style and they're always very interesting compositions. For those of you who haven't ever heard of Mike Oldfield before think of the theme to the Excorcist movie and you've at least heard him before .
Here are some samples you'll have to excuse youtube sound quality i'm afraid. I hope you enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrWpo-ORxDc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bOLkPbPCbk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcIOR_evklw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYmIKcP7Nbc EDIT: Just had to add in Tubular Bells onto the youtube list (short version) This post has been edited by steve25: Sep 17 2008, 09:47 PM |

That was a name from the past! Used to listen to his music for a period during the late 80's and early 90's. Then he slipped away and this much be the first time since then I hear his name. Think I have a couple old LP's lying around somewhere. Beats me which ones though
