Hey everyone,

I made this recording and thought it might be fun to do a collaboration with anyone willing to submit a take. This piece is in the key of B minor and travels through some chord changes within the key.

II: Bm-F#m-A-Bm :II: G-D-Em-Bm-G-Bm,F#m-Bm :II Bm II are the chord progressions.

Originally the melody is played quite slow however, there is room to move so go nuts if you feel like it. If you wish to participate then upload your takes both with and without the backing track. The track goes for one minute so it is quite long however I don't expect you to make a whole melody, you can just add one part to the bit that you like or feel comfortable with.

This is my first collaboration so be gentle biggrin.gif I may chop up your takes and drop them in haphazardly to suite but I guarantee you one thing, the Lanisters will grovel for mercy by the end of it. mad.gif

Saturday the 15th Dec will be the final day as the festive season looms and my family and friends need to be attended too. Hope you enjoy.

I'm going to feature my solo bits and this collab in this Saturdays Video Chat Metal Meltdown. I think folks will love it!

Great! Thank you Todd for your assistance with this, I'll have to make sure to join in, the ideas you had in the last video chat would be perfect technique to use for this backing track, the alt picking triplets.

Thanks Pat. I have a new version. I recorded the leads over and added some stuff. Wanted to tie the ending together in a more epic fashion.

Enjoyed playing over your track. Look forward to hearing your take and others ones too. Now I can't get this track out of my head. smile.gif

Love it, I did have an arpeggio workout in mind to go with this but with my recent run in with a grinder cut off wheel the tip of my left index finger is out of action for a while sad.gif
