I have an Iphone 4 with loads of musical apps installed. This little device is a killer one biggrin.gif Let me just mention some of them...

ThumbJam (play anything in any scale, live, and you can not miss a single note )
AmpliTube (great for silent practice with iRig adapter, tons of effects, 4 track recorder,...)
Guitar Pro (guess we all know what it is hehe )
ProChords ( awesome app for chordal progressions )
Tempo Adv. (metronome with all kind of rythm patterns)
TonalMemory (ear training)
Star Scales (...well....scales...tons of hehe )
ChordCalc (building chords, match up chord notes with their roles in different scales,..)
Combustion (drum machine with lots of variations...)
ChordMagic (Circle of Fifths app...great one)

and much more....those I mainly use at this moment.

So...what are you using ? IOS, Android, PC, MAC.....ekhm...Amiga anyone biggrin.gif ?

Wou! That sounds awesome! I don't have an Iphone, my sister has one and she showed me the Mortal Kombat 3... it was sooo cool. It would be a great investment to use those musical applications.

Nice apps you've got there.

I'm using: Karajan : Ear trainig, chords, scales and intervals
Metronome
Gibson: It has a lot of features, chords, lessons, but I only use the tuner for my acoustic guitar.
Jammit: This app show you the tabs of a lot of songs, and the best of it is that you can slow down the song and mute the instruments that you want it's very nice, I have the free version so I just have the sample songs.

I would love to know more about Garage Band for Iphone or Ipad, any of you guys have used it ?

An iPhone or iPod is something that I think would be awesome for all kinds of this stuff. I have always also felt really annoyed though whenever I came up with some sort of idea that I could use in a song, and I had no way to record it or write it down, so I just forgot it, So I think this would be really useful for that wink.gif

Ive lost quite a few ideas like that... sad.gif

There are some great iphone apps for music. And some really great apps for iPad as well. I really like the ISHRED LIVE app as well as the PEAVY AMPKIT LIVE which is my current fav.

Here is a sample and pic.

There is a project called Project RNL, which is an Israeli project, lead by Eyal Amir which is an amazing writer and pianist in my taste.
This is a praticular song they made with Jordan Rudess (the one and only!), using iPads!
"First 2 minutes of this track are played only on iPad apps, and joined by the traditional instruments for the last minute. Everything you see in the video is the actual recorded performance."

Project RNL and Jordan Rudess - Another One
Apps used:
MorphWiz
Wizbot
Nlog PRO
ThumbJam
Looptastic HD
Mugician
iELECTRIBE
iMS-20
Pocket Organ
Drum Meister
MiniSynth
iShred
VoiceKeyboard

I recommend listening to other material of Project RNL, they are great. Also see Eyal Amirs youtube channel.
