Is it possible, that even tho, I record it straight, and set my plaing and backing at the same moment it goes out of sync? I am recording it for two days and still after few bars, I start to be off time... and it is really weird, since its not that fast for me and I am even nodding my head while playing, so I am sure I am on time...
I am getting desperate -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

See reply on his assignment thread and you might find some useful tips. I am expecting the take tomorrow -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

See reply on his assignment thread and you might find some useful tips. I am expecting the take tomorrow It looks Windows movie maker messes up the sync... because I just found out, my headnodding gets out of time too.. Ill have to record the backing and my playing in one take... the sound will be a bit worse, but hopefully, It should settle. -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

Ill have to record the backing and my playing in one take... the sound will be a bit worse, but hopefully, It should settle. You can do it in one take. That's what we actually need Don't worry about the sound too much for this one but of course you should somehow fix your program for the future stuff. -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

Here it goes:
Btw. can you make 8 metronome clicks before (two measures..) As you could see, I was unable to start at time, which threw me off a bit -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

Well I made 4 clicks as always That's ok. The point is to see if you got this one right. From what you sent me I can say you passed Still you're sometimes slightly off the beat but that will come with time. I would also advise to put your thumb more towards the middle of the neck, not all the way but that will make your elbow angle more towards 90 degrees which makes you more comfortable.
The next assignment will be the sweeping over 3 notes in 130bpm (my 2nd video) plus this same one in 155bpm. You have a week for it (next Sunday) so no rush. -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

Here are the 3 string sweeps at 130:
Wasnt much of problem for me, since I already practiced these for some time (those 155 and 180 BPMs look VERY SCARY tho!) the only thing, that was kinda bugging me was (since I am tuned to drop C) that 3 string barre on 12th fret - its hard to just grab it properly, so the notes ring out cleanly... but thanks to the 12th fret harmonics, you cant evade the noise... any tips on that? I am still working on those 2 strings, but its tough... I got to 145 semi-cleanly.. but I am on the brink of going further... its all in the right hand, which refuses to move faster than that...especially that second pick on E string is very tough at that speed. This was very good. You are not holding the bar like I did but that's ok. Your approach works for 4 or more string arpeggio when you remove finger after you play a note. When I play over 2 or 3 strings I always have the bar shape and mute with the right hand. It will be very difficult to play likt this in faster tempo. Your 12th fret sounded ok, I don't see the problem there.
So what about the 2 strings in 155bpm? How much time do you need for that? Let's then do this for the next Sunday. Both 2 and 3 strings in 155bpm by next sunday. Ok? -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

Hmm I am at 150 semi clean, 155 almooooooost... Ill just take a rest for an hour or so (mi fingers are dead ) and I think, Ill be albe to do it in next practice session (this afternoon/evening). I found out, that what was blocking me the most was that my right hand wasnt realxed enough.. I used too much force and that blocked me

Here are two strings at 150 BMP.. I know, its 5 less, but in case, I would not be able to do it at 155 today, I have recorded this, so at least some progress can be seen -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

This was good man. The audio was a very low quality but I could hear it somehow Well done I think you're getting there.
So the next one is 3nps in 155bpm. Keep practicing this one as well because we'll need to hit 180 at some point Cheers -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

well regarding those 3 string sweeps and me, not playing it as bar - the major shape is the only one that can be played by bar (as opposed to minor and diminished, where you have to lift fingers). I am talking about those basic shapes, derived from the generic 5 string sweeps. Or did I get it wrong?

This is of course case when we do sweeps on 3 srtings. 5 strings is a different story Please upload the video so I can see it. Don't forget the REC take of any GMC lesson by the end of the month, that's another GMC requirement. When you upload on the REC thread please leave the link here as well. Ok, thanks - I tried to practice it as you said (by doing bar).. It got me stuck a for bit, but I am starting to get it right finally.. Ill have it on 155 most probably today. And regarding rec - is there a way, you could help me a bit with that last lick in your Climax in a solo lesson? I have really hard time counting the 16ths/16th triplets at that speed..

Well that one is a bit tricky. The point is to feel when to end the phrase. I start slowly and speed up but somewhere halfway through that run I start to feel that I am going to finish the last note on the right beat. Try to fit all those notes somehow into the right timing. The only point is to play the last note on time, everything before you can do your way Don't count 16th triplets, just try to feel the phrase. -------------------- Check out my <a href="https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/instructor/Emir-Hot" target="_blank">Instructor profile</a>

Extremely sorry for late delivery - but these christmas are really crazy.. I didnt have much time, due to famili duties (had to visit like all family members I havent seen for years... :-/)
So here it is: Regarding rec - Ill record now, what I have (all except for the last lick). With your attitude towards it (not really trying to be metronome precise, but just fill the notes in) I think its doable in few days Itll just take some practicing... -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus
