Following on from my Gospel Progressions question in the other thread I thought I'd do some of the heavy thinking on my own with some tips from The Prof.
I'm going to start with a I/vi/ii/V progression in G and see where I can take it with chord extensions and substitutions Gmaj7/Em7/Am7/D7 is my basic progression. I'll add sound clips, as musical application is more important with this than just an academic exercise! I'm stuck at work this weekend so you'll have be patient with me. -------------------- My SoundCloud

I started working on this, all well and good until....... I thought I'd see what Ted Greene had to show in Modern Chord progressions and he has a large chunk of it dedicated to this progression.
Yet again he has blown my mind with his vast knowledge. I will do my own donkey work to start with and see where I get to and then bring in Ted. I can see that some ideas will work better with specific chord voicings, this will definitely bring me to new fingerings. What I thought would be a nice little exercise, could easily amount into a year or more of study!!!!!! -------------------- My SoundCloud
