Hi there! just finished my bands first recording of our song 'Deception' thought i could start sharing it through here Were a posthardcore/metalcore band from Liverpool UK!

Great powerful song,like it ! But singing in such a way is an art, really! Can he speak at all, after a rehearsals ??!

we used a line 6 pod with spinal puppet, turned the mids and trebs at about 2 oclock, bass at about 9, put a ton of compression before the amp, then a second set of compression and a noise gate afterwards, cant remember the other settings exact cause we are changing them all the time, but i think the set the presence quite low to reduce that digital sound you get with the line 6 stuff. we then put a filter on and blocked the frequencies below about 70 Hz

surprisingly yes! we usually rehearse for 6 hours at a time and afterwards his voice is no different from when when we started! we asked him about this and apparently it feels as if he's using a different part of his voice so afterwards it doesn't feel any different to if he was singing typically.
