Patrik, you can find my idea in my mentoring thread with Darek. Because I want to make a good take for this collab, I thought that it will be a good idea to ask for my instructor opinion until to give you the final take smile.gif

Thank you Monica, my technique is quite poor that's why I'm here because I never had a proper guitar lesson, I'm self taught.

This sounds really good, make use of the triads Am - C9 - G in the first part and then F9-G9-A9 in the second part.

Huargo biggrin.gif yes! Gus G is the bomb indeed and quite frankly, this is the only tune I like listening to from Firewind laugh.gif

@Monica - well, now that I showed you what I had in mind - it's most likely a pretty rhythmic melodic theme - at least I like to look at it like that - it's because it's pretty precise and square in terms of phrasing smile.gif But that's where the whole catch lies in wink.gif

Haha for some reason the old clip of the dancer running in place at :50 on top of this version cracked me up.

And man, that guitar solo was insane. Nuclear version of the original.

Thanks Cosmin. I made an effort to leave some breathing room between a few of the phrases.
I noticed you are playing a Akerfeldt PRS now... sounds like it has a rich and thick tone! cool.gif
