Diminished 7 Workout - Part 1, Lesson By Muris Varajic |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I have exactly the same thoughts as Cosmin. Very well played. Perfect timing. Just some slightly quieter notes at that point

Hi Nava, this one seems to be a technique lesson because it has some difficulty but the stronger side is the theory behind it and the use that you can give to this shape in real music situation, as chords but also as arpeggios for soloing. I have nothing to add to Cosmin's comments about technique but I would like to say that this lesson could be a good excuse to go deeply with Diminshed 7 chords and try to apply it into your music.
Diminished 7 is usually at 7th degree of harmonic minor scale so why don't you check the theory behind that 7th mode? Check all the theory behind it HERE. Diminished are used a lot in neoclassical shredding, so you could explore our archive and search for lessons in the style of Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore and Michael Romeo, and you surely will find diminished 7 ideas in action. Check our this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Dimini...Responsibility/ and off course this one: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Dimini...peggio-Madness/ Gab.- -------------------- My lessons
