Briefly,
I want to credit instructor David Wallimann and his video on modes. I knew absolutely nothing about them nor even their names. I have always played by ear. Now, I have their names memorized and am getting closer to memorizing each form by heart. It's not quite as chaotic as I thought!

One giant question though, where after this should I direct my path to, to the next step of theory? What are all the applications to these modes and how do I go about using them within my composition/playing? If there is already a topic post on this, I apologize. Tis' been over half a decade since I've been on GMC and I am thrilled to be back! biggrin.gif
