Having had applications turned down from 2 different Music Stores, the first wanted someone more Piano/Keyboard based and have promised to get in touch should another position that's more Guitar based turn up, for which I am appreciative.
Then there's the second Store, who seem to think I don't have enough experience to do the Guitar Set-up, Repairs and modifications (which is what I applied for) after 39 years of building, set-ups, repairs, modifications and Teching on Tour as well as regular work through several Studios!! ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

Well. through a very old friend of mine he has put me in touch with the Head guy at Aria UK and I have a phone interview with them next week in regards to a job doing Set-ups, Repairs and maybe some Mods at their Warehouse not far from me!!
Fingers crossed!!

With that kind of an idiot, you're much better off not working with him. I wish the best for aria to happen! (Aria the guitar brand?)

*I had a pretty cool Aria Pro-II in the mid 80s. Similar to this ...

Cheers Ken!!
I've had a few Aria's over the years, late 70's thru-necks etc! Last one's I owned was a matching pair of the ZZ Explorer style, Guitar and Bass! Sold the Bass but still have the Guitar! Wish I hadn't've sold it though, they're as rare as Hen's teeth these days!!!

Yeah, I wish I still had that Pro-II. As 'metal' as it looked (for the time) it did more of an 80s new wave thing ... at least in my hands. The pkups were stacked humbuckers and the trem was non-locking.

Fingers crossed for you, Jonesey! Go get em man! I had an Aria Pro myself in the late 80's, an HSS strat style I think. It was one that I just kind of fell into I think because I can't really remember how I ended up with it or what even happened to it. At the time, I was grateful to have it though because for me, a good guitar was a bit hard to come by. I think it was the first guitar that I owned that was equipped with a trem.
