Anybody know anything about it ? Its the new updated version of the well liked SR-16. I am kind of interested in gettnig a more advanced drum machine for practicing - something with easily programmable bass progressions. Am fiddling with a Boss Dr-670 (its my brothers) which does the same thing, but many hate the DR-670(poor layout of interface) - I still can't figure out how to see what chords the bass is playing so I can jam to the preset patterns.
I don't plan on recording with it - Have a Boss BR-600 for that, but want a drum machine where I can quickly lay down a progression to solo over.
Not interested in computer based - been there done that. I like the hardware units so much more for their simplicity, altohugh I agree they are not as feature rich
