i've been in the city with some friends to play guitars, cajon and ukulele(^^), Yesterday.
We played some covers of Jasom Mraz and Jack johnson and so on. two of us sang.
It was so absolutely cool and fun! Did you ever do something like this? Tell about your experiences!

We bought a inflatable palmtree which we placed behind us to get this special latesummer-feeling biggrin.gif
Sand would be cool, too but that would be a huge mess.
Besides we earned 120€ in 2hours! A few more sessions and we can buy new bandrecording equipment tongue.gif

Whilst visiting my Brother in Dublin (he was working there) I 'busked' (played for money) on Grafton Street. Grafton Street is a well known place for performers. I was earning about £80-100 in a couple of hours. I also ended up playing at a very exclusive restaurant on New Years Eve.

I've also busked around London quite a lot and can claim that I've played in Hammersmith and Wembley!!!! laugh.gif

Not forgetting 'Monument Square' in Newcastle too!! biggrin.gif

I've busked a couple of times. Once in Bath and once in Glastonbury. First time we took just acoustic guitars. Next time we bought some Marshall micro amps and used our electrics. We only had about 2 songs to play !!

I hated it ! It's not for me wink.gif

I used to play here in Galway during the summers, I like the low pressure experience, but don't like the toll my vocal chords took, even singing correctly I would nearly lose my voice by the end of the week of playing a couple hours a day.

Amazing mate! I have never done it but once we planned it with a friend.. we selected the songs but we never did it. I think that it could be a really cool experience and also a way to earn some money making music.
