This seems to be a very interesting documentary. I will bookmark it for watching later. Related to this topic, the first name that comes to mind is Steve Lukather, he is a great guitarist and has composed amazing hit during the 80's...

Nile is one of those dudes who has a large body of work (and I like a lot of it) but I am not sure exactly he does. He kind of has a sound, I suppose. Some producers are just great at taking a band/artist and helping guide them in the music creating and recording process (Rick Rubin I think is this way)

Hopefully when I get around to watching this I'll have a better understanding of Nile.
