Ibanez are allowing Paul Gilbert fans to vote for their favorite PGM model. The winning model will be re-issued (lets hope I win the lottery!)

So PGM fans only, which is your favorite and why? biggrin.gif

Good choices guys! I know the 700 sounds just awsome. The guys on the Racer X boards reckon it plays just like a les paul interestingly enough! ohmy.gif

400! I don't like the reversed Ibanez head, and this one just looks stunning tongue.gif it's really funny how tastes differ. If I saw someone spending his hard earned money on the 700.. I'd say he's crazy tongue.gif But that's very different from some others here who love that model!

PGM800..... Looks great and natural, and a fixed bridge is fine and different on these guitars.

Ahhh the fixed bridge is such an awsome feature, and what attracted me to buying a PGM smile.gif Sustain is just awsome and tuneing stability, well they rarley ever go out of tune. I just like the 'no fuss' design, you can pick up and play 365 days a year biggrin.gif

I'm equally in love with the 301, 500, 600, and 800. I could never choose. But I'll vote for the 301. Classic all the way.

I fail to see the logic in wanting the production PGM from the last 5-6 years reissued. huh.gif

It is strange they list the 301 for voting seen as they have just stopped making it. Luckily for me it means the price of the 301 has gone up since I bought mine last summer biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Well, I've never played one, but I voted just for the heck of it. I voted for the PGM300. Just seems to have the best look to me, first of all, as well as a locking tremolo and a very nice set of pickups. Not to mention a maple neck, which I think is a good match. Only thing I'm not sure about is the reversed headstock, I've never played one of them, so I don't know the difference in feel. I think it looks kind of silly, though.
