Just seems to have the best look to me, first of all, as well as a locking tremolo and a very nice set of pickups. Not to mention a maple neck, which I think is a good match. Only thing I'm not sure about is the reversed headstock, I've never played one of them, so I don't know the difference in feel. I think it looks kind of silly, though.
