Oooh, sorry my friend, that was not the purpose. But You can just edit some parts in my article out and then refer to Yours if You think it will suit better there... smile.gif Btw. it is a HUGE topic, which cover so much artists and interesting things. Let me know if You need some assistance, I will be happy to help. Maybe it can be done in the same way I did with the guitar sims?? Eg. have one "master" article and then refer to sub-articles??? Anyway, I will check Your article before I write something more on the topic, so that we are'nt writng the same stuff! smile.gif

Absolutely, that is why that article will take some time to develop.

Maybe we dont need to worry about this as long as articles are linked, a little duplication from diffreent viewpoints is no bad job.

Cheers, you are doing a great job with the Wikki, keep at it. Your sims stuff is really interesting. Linked to this we need an article on guitar synths such as the Roland G20.

Ooh, Im really bad at those gadgets, I was trying one out in the eighties, but didn't like it - probably due to that I'm playing keyboards as well and I rather use a keyboard than a guitar for those sounds... But there are some players doing great stuff with guitar synths. Have You got such a synth ???

I guess You can get one pretty cheap nowadays, or maybe I'm wrong? But there aren't so many out there anymore, the guitars built by Roland in the 80's might as well be collectors items in the future. And then there is that weird thing Allan Holdsworth uses, the SynthAxe. I never tried such an instrument, but it looks kinda thrilling. It has no real strings and looks like a star-wars toy.

Nooooooo, not again..... I was looking in the WIKI and found nothing.... Im so sorry... sad.gif
I was also checking in the list in the forum.... but maybe that was an old one.....
I didn't mean to ruin things for anyone....
Shouldn't it be a good idea to start writing an article in the WIKI,
even that it may take some time to complete?? Then can people actually see whats in progress by
search for it, it can be marked "in progress" or whatever....

That's probably a good idea!
I did post a list of all the ones I was working on in one of the threads, but with all the recent activity it's probably a few pages back now!!

Maybe we should start the page and just mark it as 'In progress by .....' and then we know who is working on it and maybe offer each other help in resourcing information or whatever?

Hmmm, I discovered that I'd better stick to partly unknown jazzplayers, balalaika & mandolin players and why not a WIKI about myself ??? It will take AGES to complete.... laugh.gif

That sounds like a good idea to me! I will be happy to help in order to make our WIKI outstanding, even that my knowledge in certain areas are NULL-able (especialially bout' girls, whom I never will understand....) Just ask me or P.M and I will make my best to help anyone in the WIKI-projekt in the hunt of information! smile.gif
