I have the day off tomorrow. My little brother turned 30 and I'm taking us to the local casino and entering us both in a $30 buy in Hold Em tourney. That and breakfast is his present from his big brother.
If I win I'm buying an Ibanez Prestige S-Series.....
I own 5 guitars now.
Something tells me I'll own 5 at the end of the day tomorrow too....
I like to play Texas Hold 'em with my friends sometimes. I occasionally play on the internet too, but not too much 'cause then I would lose everything
Good luck on getting that Ibanez
The key concept in holdem is to be relaxed and watch your opponents carefully and follow there every move(This is hard but try)
Dont take any unecesary risks and play when you think you have the best hand......
I am no pro but i have played some and read alot of books about this
But try to have fun and dont think that much about the money
I have never played for real , I've only played on facebook, and its cool.
How much can you win on a $30 tournament, jer?
Someone plays PKR?
http://www.pkr.com I play it
I also play pokerstars!
I have no idea what the payouts are.
I've never played there before. I dont usually play for money outside of the house.
A friendly tourney at my place every few months with a $20 buy in is just fine with me. That'll net the winner $150 or so. About 1/2 that for 2nd place. Its just good fun. $20 is a cheap night out anyway.
I played in a 50 or so person tourney in Vegas when I was out there in December. I came in 8th.
I'm no poker star. Just a casual player. I do decently well at it because I do have patience and am not a thrill junkie.
I play this on Facebook very often
I use to play Holdem limit and no limit for 2 years almost a lot of time. Then I stopped cause I got sooooo goooood
I play at 'Full Tilt', if Istart losing I give up and come back to play another day!
I never played poker seriously, and I'm glad I didn't.
it can be a pretty intellectual game.
