An Alexi guitar for a first timer... the only question is can you handle it?

I think i will handle it.

I´ve tried out some Stratocaster models and I must say that the fat body of them made me turn to the Alexi 200 BK; a friend of me (his Name is Miika, and he´s making music for 19 years now) hast told me that is the right equip for me to get a rightly quick start, because he knows my speed of learning when I want something real hard from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Thomas,

welcome on GMC. smile.gif

Lets rock
Jens

Hi again to everybody here in GMC and many thanks for this friendly welcome messages.

Yesterday i´ve worked on the beginner´s power chords for about 5 1/2 hours and pwnd the ears of my neighbours a lot ( happy.gif tongue.gif cool.gif ) then i turned around and nearly drop down by laughing seeing my dog sleeping in my casket case for my guitar.

Well, I think you would be laughing too if you are rocking hard through your lessons and see this:

After a while i could stop laughing and was playing on...

Herzlich willkomme hier und viel spaß, Thomas. (that's about the best I can do in German wink.gif)

I love the pictures, and your dogs. Espcially the black one. Such beautiful shiny fur.

The beginners lessons are great. I took the beginner exercises, the power chords and the pletonic scales. I was amazed how quickly things connected in my head after just trying the Am and Em scales. I never could phatom how they played all those wonderful solo's perfectly in tune - now I know!

Even my man is impressed with what I've learned in less than a week, in fact I completely blew him away playing for him on the webcam. At first he thought I was just pulling his leg by simply pretending to along the backtrack, until I stopped playing haha. (he even recognized the hammer-ons and pull-offs!)

I'm just so shocked myself with how things start to develop for me. Well what can I say, guitarmasterclass is the best musical experience that ever happened to me.

ps.: I'm 39 and still not too old to rock, and rock hard.

You are never too old to learn something.

And this doesn´t only count on the guitar lessons.

My father is now 75 years old and he´s now learning english !

Ps: The black dog is the dog of my neighbour, i have this little one every day when he´s at work. It´s a Pitbull-Jack Russel-Mix and is called Bullet.

My dog (the white one) is a Golden Retriever-Kuvaz-Mix and is called Laika.

Pps: Go on and play for your friend online with the webcam, I am surprised too how fast I learn the lessons and get my first sucsess...

Ppps: This is Stella, my youngest dog:

Exactly my sentiment. It will take us perhaps a little longer (depending on our natural talent to grasp whatever we try to learn), but hopefully we'll be able to counter that with having more patience than we used to have in our "so called younger days".

Thought I saw a pitbull in it. I've owned several of them myself, but they were all registered as either boxer/pit or stafford. I didn't want to put the poor dog through nuzzle torment for the rest of their natural lives. All of them were the sweetest and bravest dogs I've ever owned.

Aww that's just so cute! Wonderful picture. Dogs are such wonderful companions. I stopped owning dogs because it was too painful to say goodbye each time. Though, for the most part of my live we had dogs around us. My mom still owns dogs.

Anyway, back to practice (just took a short break to give my hands a rest)
