GMC Forum _ Theory (David) _ Harmonizing Scales.

Hi there

I was studying your lesson on harmonizing scales and I have this question:

I´m playing a melody in E Aeolian and I want to harmonize that in thirds, so is it right to use G Ionian for that?

G ionian is the 3rd mode of Eaeolian. If play them both at the same time, it will be harmonized as 3rds, because it's the 3rd mode. smile.gif
