Just wanted to wish YouTube Happy 5.

Looks like YouTube completed its 5th year as it seems from its logo. This one was one BIG revolution on the web and I have to say HATS OFF to these guys. Without YouTube, I am sure I wouldn't have been able to gather 'tonnes' of FREE information out there including guitar learning and daily hunting of amazing talents.

Yeah, happy birthday! Youtube must be the most succesfull product ever. Having grown from nothing to this in 5 years!

Weird. If asked, I'd have said youtube was a couple years older than this. Not many, just 1 or 2 years before 2005. I swear it can't have been only five years ago that we first saw it. Amazing how quickly it's become almost a necessity to so many people.

I didn't know it was only 5 years I can't remember web without youtube...Really amazing product/idea that changed so many people's lives. Does anyone know what is the first ever user posted youtube video?

Happy Birthday indeed. I was reading about YT, how the shear amount of material is a big expense for Google company, compared to the profits that YT generates. But I also believe that it would never be what it is, if it had more commercial character. Who knows, perhaps they find a way to increase profits on YT in the future, but for now it's an awesome free service, almost a gift to the world. Respect for YT and Google people

too bad i didn't see youtube in all its glory on that day of fifth anniversary. People say the homepage looked different or something. I didn't log on that day.
