'got Blisters On My Fingas!'

I know that all you seasoned players got shoe leather think finger tips by now and could probably play for hours and not feel a thing, but of course you guys weren't born that way. I just started playing a lot more recently and have really gotten sensitive finger tips . I want to practice every moment I can, but my finger tips aren't letting me. I have yet to bleed or develop any kind of visible sores on my finger tips, but they are definitely hurting as I type this out. Any kind of advice one could give to help recover the tips faster so I can get back to a fresh feeling practice session? Am I hurting myself more by playing when they hurt or am I just being a wimp?

Bending Notes

I finished practicing your 'Blues Licks' video and have everything pretty well ironed out. The only issue I have with the playing is the bend notes. Specifically, its the eighth fret on the B string up 2 half steps. I can do the micro bends easily on all the notes, but the larger bends I am having a problem with. I am using some pretty light strings (Ernie Ball... the guy sold me these hybrid or something) but I can't easily hit the note I'm bending to. Is there any kind of practicing or technique I can work on to help my bends?

This website looks amazing and exactly what I need to get my playing going. I'm a 20 yr old college student with a lot of free time. I'm looking for some lessons that can take me past the beginner ~ intermediate stage. I've been playing guitar for years, but have never seriously sat down and practiced. I one day hope to even touch the level of play that the instructors show. I Think im just going to start from the beginning and work my way up!
