I hope this is in the right spot...

Anyway, I'm trying to record a cover of Pull the Plug by Death and I cant get a good drums sound..why? Cause I can't drum and I don't have a drum machine. Guitar Pro drums make a fellow cringe as well.

Anyway if someone could use their Drum Machine and make the part it would rock on such a huge level.

I know it's kind of a bit to ask too but I'm out of options I can't find any drum software that isn't ZOMG expensive and this is all I could think of.

Well if anyone does want to help here is the song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm9pNmBFZHw
and you can get the guitar pro tabs at 911tabs.com I'd upload them myself but I fear it would break rules.

Nice smile.gif

One thing though, the sound is very low..
I don't know if Enucleation needs them to be louder, but just thought I'd point it out smile.gif

What drums did you use? Software or drum machine? I liked the sound of them... smile.gif

Well I haven't started recording over it yet, but I think the volume will be fine. If its a bit low I can probably work around with it but if it becomes a problem, I guess I'll let you know.

Thanks again, man.

Nice drumtrack! There is however one small issue with it. You got the snare rimshot and not the real snare sounds for the snare. This often happens if you import a gp5-file and make an EZ drummer track out of it without changing it. It's not a big issue though, it still sounds nice.

I really want to hear this when it is done. Can you play the solo that Chuck does and if so how would you suggest I go about building to that level so I can play the Pull The Plug solo perfectly?

Some parts of ther drum track are a little off. Like, the sections where it's just Chuck's guitar for maybe two measures or something, the drums are only silent for 1 measure.

And for Organised Confusion, I can't play the solo perfectly, when I record a cover I normally just use parts of the original solo and add my own parts to it, if I play for fun though then I will learn the solos. I haven't spent much time on the Pull the Plug solo but the parts I can think that might cause trouble, for me anyway, is the run starting on the G string and descending to the E string then back the to high E and the string skipping thing at the end. I haven't really tried to learn it exactly but I guess just take it slow.

I'll spend more time on it later and maybe record the original solo, it doesn't seem too far out of my capabilities, but until then, I don't know how I could help you. Sorry.

It's alright. I'm just gonna practice it slow and build up
