Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

This one is better than the Black Sabbath one. Your picking needs to be tight like it's played by a machine. It is very important in this style of music. Some chops are not 100% in time. I think you have too much distortion. Try less drive and your sound will be nicer and cleaner. I think it's too buzzy like this. Overall it was pretty good one.

Not bad Andrew. I felt your distortion was a bit much here, so try to lower the gain next time you record video. Rhythm was off in some sections so make sure you work in that as well.

Some more rhythm practice would do you good. You just need to be more precise.
And i agree with the other comments; Too much drive on the sound.

Cool take, definitely better that the Sabbath one. There are still some timing problems but as I said before, with a bit of practice you will for sure be able to fix this, just make sure to practice with a click or a drum computer. And I also think your sound is a bit too distorted, like this it gets too muddy, try reducing your gain a bit, you will also increase your attack like that.
