> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

First of all I am honored! You did a great job! Nice sound and nice playing!
A few things on the rhythm part I would suggest to lay back a little bit instead of pushing it this way you will be more in the "Pocket" with drums and bass
Also when the solo start you are playing G# too fast instead it comes on 3 and you are playing it on 2 and
For the third part of the solo you switched the lick around it second than third string
Everything else was great! I will give you 9 because I know you can do better! smile.gif Good job though!

Nice tone man !!

You're playing in front of the beat quite a lot, it sounds like you're rushing it a bit so as Alex says, try to lay back and relax smile.gif

I think you should try shaking your hand left and right a bit more to squeeze out that slide vibrato ! cool.gif

Hi mate! I agree with Alex and Ben about this one. It's a good take but it's not sounding 100% tight. It has some little timing issues, like being before the beat in some sections. Concentrate on that! wink.gif

Hey mate smile.gif I never tried to play with the slide, but I agree with the guys about the timing! Keep on practicing a bit more to nail this perfectly!
