Hey everyone. My name is monty. I would love to collaborate with all of you guys. I have a backing track of a song that I came up with that we could all jam to. We can extend it, write more parts for it or just make it a 10 hour long solo. Im down with anything. I would love it if a bass player could add bass to it because I dont have a bass at the moment. Here is the track. Listen to it and let me know. Thanxxx. Monty

You should post what key its in and what scales you think people should use to make it a more user friendly collaboration.

sorry. im new to the site and im not sure how all this works yet. the song is in e. i would reckon that e major, minor, dorian, lydian and mixolydian would all work on this riff. Its pretty "user friendly" in itself. It woulld also be cool to do your best Jimmy Paige impression over this one since it sounds like something led zepplin would do. My philosophy is learn all the scales and theory that you possibly can. Then, right before the record button is hit, forget it all! When it comes down to it, its all about how it sounds. Monty

Is there still room left here? I might just give it a try. I'll probably use the E minor, it's cool and I know it by hard so it's in my head!

Brotherreece please PM me if there's a spot

It sounds good!

Shall I come with some semi-good lick these days, I'll upload it.

Anyway I'm always looking for backing tracks, so thanks for this one wink.gif
