Hi there, this is a good take but there's just a couple of things that stop it from getting the higher grades

- Timing with the backing: When you start the piece you are slightly ahead. You do correct this soon after, however. Around 0:18 you lose your pace and fall behind. So you'll have to pend some more time getting everything in synchronisation.

- Note memorisation: 0:16, there's something not quite right occurring here. A finger maybe slipping onto an adjacent fret maybe. I think it's this particular run that throws your timing out afterwards.

Your technique does look and sound good, but we can't see your picking hand at all so try to place your camera so we've got a clear view of both hands and your guitar

Hey there!

There is a lot of good to be said about your playing...though there are some issues as well.

Picking consistency - you have a very good, even tone of your picking, and solid, alternate motion that I think should make you able to play with a very good timing. Somehow I guess the backing track is not an easy one to get perfectly matched with it's beat, but it's possible. Most of the time you play very clean - there is a problem in 0:14, where unwanted noises break through. You need to review moments of taking away left hand fingers (those behind the one that pressures the string at the moment) because some of them are necessary for touching unwanted, unsed strings.

Aside from above, you're on the great way to become pro alternate "picker"

Hi mate!

Good job with this great lesson.

I think that your technique looks good and that there are some parts of this take in which your playing is flawless. However, there are many parts in which you are close but there are one of two issues happening.

The first issue that I note, mostly when you go to the higher octave section, is that your timing is not going tight with the backing track. The problem starts when you do the passage that connects the first half with the second one and keep for many measures. The main reason can be that maybe your hands starts to get tired, but if not, it's just lack of attention to timing.

The second issue that appear here and there are the unwanted noises. Sometimes it's a string that is not muted, while other times it's that you play the following note while the previous one is still sounding, and that generates noise and makes your playing dirty.

If you focus on this two issues, your take will be perfect soon.
