I have a question on your tab layouts. I understand the 6 strings and the numbers that indicate the frets. I also understand the various indictators for hammers ons, pull offs, etc. But I notice on the very top of the tabs there are these series of letters. H, Q, S S S S.. stuff like that. What are those letters trying to tell me? Thanks for your response.

Wait.. I think I figured it out. Half, Quarter, Eighth, Sixteenth.. right?

Hi there, yes you're correct. I don't add them myself, it automatically puts them there when I make the tab. I'd never know to figure it out otherwise ! laugh.gif

yeah, but those letters are very difficult to follow, I don't find it useful.

Me neither. I think if you have musical knowledge and know all the note values etc then it might make things quicker, I dunno.. but for me I just relate the written notes with what I hear and that's how it works for me smile.gif
