I've heard that if you play "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin backwards that it has a supposed satanic message. I'm not gonna lie, its kinda f*ckin wierd. I've also learned that the Beatles backmasked a lot of stuff, and in the song "Another One Bites the Dust" that it says "It's fun to smoke marijuana" when played backwards. There are also backmaskings by Eminem, Brittany Spears, and ELO. check out this video, its Stairway to Heaven backwards.

that was weird...
There is hundreds out there, even the Popeye theme song. The most promenant one is Stairway to Heaven. If you type in backmasking there is hundreds of sites.
i heard of the stairway to heaven before. But you see, you think tahts what it says because you're given the lyrics, so if you're listening while reading, its obvious that you will assume thats what it says.
I must say it is very weird tho.
Ive also heard that Santana did alot of this, and the song Hotel California had some stuff too, but im not sure.
Sadly enough, this is fake, a friend and me did a few tests on people with Stairway to Heaven to see if they'd hear any Satanic messages. The people who weren't told what it says never picked out any words, but those who were told immediately caught it.
An interesting idea though, especially with Stairway to Heaven.
its a lie. Me and my friend did it in the original song and a live version and the "message" appeared to be in the same spot. Honestly, its pretty hard to put subliminal messages on music while retaining the original song. Meaning you cant put backward mesages while ruining the outcome of the song at the same time.
Sorry this is just rubbish. The only reason you hear those lyrics is because you are trying to hear them. It doesnt work if you dont read it.
Judas Priest were on trial for a backwards message that was supposed to have caused two boys to shot themselves, one died and the other was pretty messed up and died a few years later.
The message in "Better by you better than me" was supposed to say something like"Do it" and then something unhearable followed by something unhearable followed by "shoot".
In defense Judas Priest hired sound technicians that were supposed to look for backward messages in their songs. They came up with a few and one was remarkable, I don't remember it word by word (this is from a documentary I saw in the 90's) but it was something like "I like chewing gum hand me a peppermint"
And that pretty much proved that if you went in with intention to find something you can find a message and then by sound processing with eq, speed, compress etc you can make it hearable. I think I remember that they planted it to the listeners first by saying "this is the message - I like che..." so that would be what everyone wre listening to hear.
thats three thumbs down from me, what a waste of time looking for messages in backwards songs. plain stupid and a lie
if an artist wants you to hear something you will find it in the song playing forwards, like it should.
And what would the use be of adding messages of people killing themselves, people who are buying your recrods.
Did anyone check Pavels videos? I belive there might be a backwards message in there and it's affecting a lot of people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew the Led Zeppelin one was fake. I just thought it was wierd that it sounded the way it did backwards.
