GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Sweep Picking

Ok, so on a simple sweep picked arpegio like the following one what picking pattern should be used? I've written above the tab what I think it should be, am I correct?

D D D D D U D P U U U U U

|-----11----------------------11----------|
|--12----------------------------12-12----|
|-----------------------------------------|

U = Upstroke
D = Downstroke
P = Pull-off

EDIT: Damn, the D's and U's have moved places! I guess you'll just have to match the numbers to the letters.

Cool, ok. So thats exactly the same but you just hammer on the E on the 12th fret.
