GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ "by Monday"

Posted by: ElHombre Dec 1 2013, 01:15 AM

Hello

Is someone says: "This needs to be sent in to me by Monday"
Does that mean I can send it on Monday

or do I have to send it before Monday?

Please help smile.gif

It means party up all weekend and then wake up Monday morning or possibly afternoon to hand him back the piece of paper he wrote that note on...

When in doubt, get it in early smile.gif if possible contact the guy to make sure but given that it's the weekend, it might be tough to reach him.

I usually interpret it to mean 'Before Monday or at least in their hands at the very latest on Monday morning'.
