Hello GMCers, ive been practicing Alternate Picking alot lately, ive seen alot of improvement. Right now (im practicing) im practicing Marcus's advanced lesson, and i tried doing normal picking. And i cant, i cant normal pick anymore, i just can alternate and if i wanna normal i gotta focus alot. Is this normal? please help, im worried, because sometimes its more comfortable for me to just normal pick. thanks

I'm sorry, I can't answer your question, but I just started wondering. What's normal picking? I've always considered alternate picking the normal picking style..

Thats good for some blues playing, and also when playing some rythems sometimes. BUT if you want to play super fast licks, then its AP all the way!!
